Privacy Policy

Our policy is to treat our user as confidential information. We will not give or sell confidential or personal information about our users to any third party not affiliated with the site host, except as required by law. Some of the information collected by this site is personal data or data which relates to an identifiable person. Examples of personal data are names, telephone numbers and email addresses. Finally, we do provide personal data to government agencies as required by law or regulation.

We have made security and privacy a priority. If you want to share your information in you profile, you will need to set the privacy level to something other than the default. This can be done by clicking on your name or profile icon anywhere on the site, and then select Edit Profile. The three basic levels of security are:

• Friends: shares that information with people whom you mark as a friend.
• Logged In Users: shares that information with those who are actively using the site.
• Public: Anyone who visits the site can see your profile or other posted information

These levels are able to be set on profiles, groups, and discussions. Please use them to protect your privacy where applicable

In order to reduce the amount of group spamming we are forced to endure on the site, a change has been made to the site registration policy. Registration now requires a new account to be verified by a site administrator before access is granted. Users without valid profile information will be contacted in order to verify identity information. Users who do not respond to validation requests will not be granted access. These steps are necessary in order to protect our users from Terms of Service abuses and group spamming.
